The Regent Singapore, A Four Seasons Hotel
The Regent Singapore was American architect John Portman's first hotel designed outside the USA, and represents the first use of a multi-storey atrium in Southeast Asia. The airy internal space soars overhead and is accentuated by the suspended architectural sculpture of Michio Ihara that was commissioned for the hotel in 1982. Within the hotel is a rich collection of museum-quality Southeast Asian arts and artifacts.

The quiet sophistication of The Regent Singapore is one of its assets. Set among the tranquil residences by Orchard Road, The Regent Singapore is just minutes from the city's most exclusive shopping, the Central Business District and Singapore Botanical Gardens. The hotel's discerning staff is recognised for their passion and quality of service. This is complemented by the presence of world renowned restaurant Iggy's and acclaimed Japanese tempura restaurant Tenshin. The refined Tea Lounge remains one of the city's favoured settings for a traditional high tea, while the award-winning Summer Palace restaurant delights connoisseurs of Cantonese cuisine.
