American designer Dale Chihuly is considered the leader of a worldwide renaissance in glassblowing as a fine art. His experimentations with how light transforms coloured glass and the unique interaction of colour, light and form have resulted in incredible feats of imagination and creativity.
Chihuly’s “Sunrise” and “Sunset” series of wall installations at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore consist of 80,000 square feet of Tiffany glass, transformed into anemone-like sculptures that hang overhead, reflecting and refracting light with mesmerising effect.
