The Lands by Capella

The historical home to the Department of Lands has been reimagined into The Lands by Capella, a house of light with an innovative mix of experiences in discovery retail, business entertainment, dining and hospitality inspired by contemporary art and culture.

Its neighbour, the former Department of Education building, was reawakened as a full-service 192-room luxury hotel, Capella Sydney in 2023. The heritage-listed icon balances storied architectural features with a contemporary design aesthetic to welcome guests in for a luxurious retreat.
